Join with us to welcome new intern Emma Hickey from Arcadia University! Over the years, we’ve hosted so many wonderful Arcadia student interns. Their hard work and dedication reflect well on the University.
Emma is a senior in the honors program, working toward a bachelor’s degree in International Studies with minors in Global Public Health and French. Her interest in the environmental health aspect of global public health began in high school when she studied A.P. Environmental Science. Emma also has an enormous enthusiasm for international travel — she spent semesters in London and Manipal, India. In India, she learned about the ins and outs of the Indian public health system and explored many cultural facets of Indian society.
Emma hopes to pursue a graduate degree in global environmental policy or sustainable development and work abroad for a short period of time. During her time at TTF, Emma is enthusiastically assisting at our events and contributing to the TTF blog.
Interested in interning with TTF this year? We accept graduate, college or exceptional high school students with:
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Interest in improving the health of our urban watershed
- Minimum commitment of 16 hours per week.
