Community Beautification Initiative
TTF has teamed up with local non-profit, Equal Partners In Change, community organizer Reverend Williams and the management of the Awbury View Apartments to create a yearlong beautification and education initiative for Awbury View residents. This series of movies, workshops, discussions, lectures and greening events will culminate in a daylong green festival to be held in the spring of 2011.
Since this effort began we have held a number of community meetings and lessons. We planted 15 trees at the apartment complex in November 2010.
