Join us to learn how faith groups can be good stewards for the environment 🌱 🌍
When it rains, chemicals and other dangerous pollutants on our streets, parking lots, and roads get washed into storm drains and are funneled into our waterways. And with climate change getting worse and more storms predicted, we could see major problems with our region’s drinking water unless we come together town by town and take proactive action. Faith groups can also play a part in being good stewards to the environment, protecting clean water, and helping their local communities by instituting smart changes on their properties. To find out how, join us and our friends at Pennsylvania Environmental Council, New Jersey LCV, and a host of cosponsors on Wednesday, March 16 from 6–7 p.m. for the second part of our “Caring for the Earth” webinar series on how to install and finance green infrastructure. If you’re a member or leader of a congregation or religious school and are interested in learning more, we strongly encourage you to attend! |
From churches to religious schools, many religious institutions are living their values by installing green infrastructure projects. By joining the webinar, you’ll get to hear from leaders who have installed projects like these to reduce their contributions to water pollution and support their communities, find out what financing options exist, and learn what steps to take to get started on the installation process. Now more than ever, it is important that we are all caring for creation. Sign up here to join us for this important discussion. |
