Come help preserve the wetlands that feed Baeder Creek in partnership with the Abington Shade Tree Commission! We plan to remove invasive vines and collect trash from the wetlands and woods on the Abington School District campus which includes Copper Beech Elementary School and the playing fields of the high school. Baeder Creek is a tributary of the Tookany.
All tools and supplies will be provided, including work gloves (though you’re welcome to bring your own). Please note, restrooms are not available. No plastic water bottles – please bring a reusable water bottle if you have one.
Remember to wear a mask, and to stay home if you experience COVID-19 symptoms or have been in contact with a confirmed case in the last 14 days.

Where: upper parking lot of Copper Beech Elementary (825 Easton Rd, Glenside, PA 19038), next to the playground
