Education Initiatives (EITC)

If you participate in the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC), Tookany/Tacony-Frankford Watershed Partnership (TTF) is eligible for a tax-reducing donation from your company! We have been officially designated as an Educational Improvement Organization (EIO) by the PA Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED).

Learn about TTF’s environmental educational programming and the guidelines for your business to participate in the EITC program in our brochure, coming soon.

The EITC program is an excellent way for you to contribute to TTF’s educational programs while benefiting your business and receiving valuable tax credits. Rather than sending your tax dollars outside of our community, keep them here to invest in our innovative environmental education programs.

Your business will receive a PA state tax credit, and is eligible as a charitable deduction on your federal tax returns. The tax credit can equal 75% of your business’s contribution up to a maximum of $750,000 per tax year. If your business provides a written agreement to provide the same donation amount for two consecutive tax years, your tax credit can equal 90% of the contribution up to a maximum of $750,000.
