Katie Leander

Katie grew up in Eastern Oregon, loves being outdoors, and is grateful for Tacony Creek Park’s proximity to her home.  She and her husband are hikers, bikers, campers, and runners, and enjoy spending as much time as possible in the woods, along with their four kids and dog.  You can find Katie and her family exploring the TCP trail on foot or bike, using iNaturalist to identify new plants and animals.  A counselor and homeschooler, Katie is also bilingual and enjoys connecting with Spanish-speaking neighbors and friends.
