Susan is a Philadelphia local who developed a love of nature at a young age through exploring the woods and creek at Pennypack Park. She has a B.A. in Political Science and Asian Studies from Temple University and a Master’s of Science in Public Policy from Drexel University. Susan grew up in the Northeast, and now lives within sight of Clark Park in West Philly. As a passionate environmental activist, she is a longtime community organizer and has spent years advocating for environmental and climate justice, fighting fossil fuel projects, and building grassroots power. She’s obsessed with urban agriculture and enjoys biking and hiking around the city. Fun fact: Susan is a Tree Tender!
