You can be part of a cleaner Philadelphia! Imagine how beautiful our streets would be if every person in the watershed picked up one piece of trash everyday for 30 days. Together we can make that vision a reality!
From November 1 to November 30, 2010, the Tookany/Tacony-Frankford Watershed Partnership (TTF) is picking up one piece of trash every day. We need YOU to join the effort. Here is how you can show your support:
1. Leave a comment after this blog post agreeing to pick up one piece of trash everyday during the month of November.
2. PICK UP TRASH, in front of your house, on your way to work or the grocery store, get the trash off the streets and into the appropriate receptacle!
3. Every time you pick up a piece of trash, take a picture of it and send it to us at info@ttfwatershed.org or add it yourself to our Trash Map. Let us know your name, where you found the trash and where you disposed of it. If you can’t take a picture, that’s fine, just add the info to our trash map. If you submit a piece of trash 25 or more days out of the month of November, we will mail you a prize!
