Working with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, TTF and students from Arcadia University’s Social Action and Social Change course recently surveyed streets in West Oak Lane. Students noted conditions along the sidewalks of a residential neighborhood and picked up trash as they worked. The data collected will be sent to Philadelphia Parks & Recreation as part of the TreePhilly campaign to increase the tree canopy of Philadelphia. Volunteers are needed for this ongoing campaign.
