TTF celebrated the Halloween season with an event at Tacony Creek Park for enthusiastic dogs and their owners. We handed out “doggy bags” to residents and led walks down the trail to the creek –the owners and their pups thought the fall colors were amazing!
During the walk, we talked about the importance of cleaning up after dogs in order to keep the creeks clean — during storms, dog waste contributes to stormwater runoff. Learn more about stormwater runoff here.
