Hello! My name is Krista Vandetty and I am a senior at Susquehanna University majoring in International Studies with a concentration in Sustainable Development. I am excited to spend the summer interning with TTF! TTF is the perfect organization for me to put my knowledge to the test and get hands-on experience in a field I am passionate about.
I have always been passionate about the environment and I decided to base my collegiate career off of this drive. Seeing the depletion of the environment is disheartening, but I am happy to work with an organization like TTF that encourages everyday people to get involved to combat this universal problem. I enjoy volunteering within my community and am a member of the Co-ed service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega, where I complete a minimum of 50 hours of community service annually. I love meeting people within my community and helping to make a difference.
I also enjoy spending time outdoors, rowing, hiking, traveling, and going to the beach. I look forward to finishing my last year at Susquehanna University this upcoming May. After graduation, I would like to teach English in Spain for a few months before starting a more permanent career that is based around conserving the environment. I am eager to start my internship with TTF to learn more about the environment!
