My name is Nagiarry Porcena-Meneus, a human being who cares and loves people and places.

I am excited and grateful that I am the new Community Organizer with the TTF Philadelphia team. Filled with passion for the environments of this Earth, my feet continuously lead me in spaces to build partnerships, ideas, programs, conversations and resources with others. During the summer of 2017, I was the trail manager and watershed fellow for the Alliance for Watershed Education at Cobbs Creek Community Environmental Education Center. It was a beautiful experience filled with stories and planning processes.

I am and have been serving in many leadership positions at Temple University as a Geography and Urban Studies major with upcoming certificates in Creative Writing and Geographic Information System. I am currently the Co-President for People of Color Environmental Coalition. I am the seasonal Green Stormwater Infrastructure Intern for Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia.

If I am not writing, working on personal projects or celebrating my time in nature, you can find me celebrating the accomplishments of loved ones and exploring Philadelphia. I also love doing research, learning about herbs, dancing and spending time in silence. It would my pleasure to share knowledge, partnerships, experiences and assets with you moving forward. I am grateful for what the future can hold and hope to stand by our collective missions to the best of my ability.
