Starting this month until November 17th, a free fitness walking group with We Walk PHL will meet at two Tacony Creek Park gateways, exercise together and share communal space. How exciting!
Here’s our schedule:
Wednesdays 9 to-10AM: Starting at Whitaker Avenue Gateway — 635 Tampa Street, Philadelphia 19120
Saturdays 10 to 11AM: Starting at Tabor Road Gateway –Tabor Road and Olney Avenue, Philadelphia 19120 (799 E Tabor Rd)

We have been walking the trails of Tacony Creek Park since May! We advocated for ourselves all summer long. Thank you everyone who joined us for caring about your health and supporting us as we do the same. It warmed my heart to start my Tuesday mornings at Whitaker Avenue Gateway in your company. Thank you for celebrating our laughter and stories along the way. Thank you for seeing and respecting the beauty of wildlife.
I remember the various workouts we completed before and after walking the trails. Before joining this group, exercising was not part of my weekly routine. It is now!
At the end of each walk, we usually share one thing that we value. Through this blog, I want to say that I value WeWalk PHL and thank you for being a part of it.
