Tacony Creek Park is a green space that provides much-needed rest, recreation, and nature for the people who live in nearby communities and the city of Philadelphia. TTF is committed to working with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, the Philadelphia Water Department, and all other stakeholders to ensure that this park, trail, and creek are accessible, clean, and safe for visitors.
This past spring, Philadelphia Parks & Recreation (PPR) installed Emergency Locator Signs at gateways and along the trail throughout the park. (Thank you, PPR!) These signs provide numbers identifying locations to enable emergency responders to locate park users calling for assistance.
Please note the numbers of the locator signs at the gateway you enter and nearest to you along the trail to ensure your safety when visiting, in case you need to contact 911.
If you see an ATV or a vehicle in the park, call the PPR Park Rangers at 215-685-0144 and let them know where you saw the ATV by referencing the number on the closest locator sign.
Take photos if possible, but do not take any risks. Call 215-744-1853, email info@ttfwatershed.org, message the Tacony Creek Park Keepers on Facebook at @tcpkeepers.
If you hear gunshots or see signs of guns, call 911 immediately, tell them the number on the closest Emergency Locator Sign to you, and get yourself to a safe place, like a gateway. Call 215-744-1853, email info@ttfwatershed.org, message the Tacony Creek Park Keepers on Facebook at @tcpkeepers.
