We’re thrilled to announce that the Creeky #CleanSquad is expanding! Thanks to the PowerCorpsPHL Fellowship Program, we’re welcoming three incredible new fellows to the team. Together, we’ll continue our mission of keeping Tacony Creek Park clean, safe, and green for all.
Our work goes beyond simply picking up trash—it’s about creating a space where families and neighbors feel welcome and connected to nature. As our first official Creeky #CleanSquad leader Jose Sanchez shared:
“Being part of this team has been a journey of growth and connection. It’s about more than just cleaning up—it’s about transforming the park into a welcoming space for families and the community. Seeing the impact of our work and hearing people say ‘thank you’ motivates me to keep building something beautiful and imagine how much more we can achieve together.”
Meet Our New Fellows!
Kevonna Bundy: Hailing from North Philly, Kevonna joined PowerCorpsPHL in 2024. She’s a graduate of Kensington High School and brings her passion for community work to the Creeky #CleanSquad.
Queen White: Originally from 29th and Lehigh, Queen joined PowerCorpsPHL in August 2024. She’s a graduate of YouthBuild Philly and is currently studying sterile processing at PTTI while taking online courses at CCP.
Terrence Gore: A proud North Philly native, Terrence joined PowerCorpsPHL as the Operations Coordinator for Cohort 23. With a background in community work and a dedication to service, he’s excited to bring his leadership to the squad.
