Dear TTF Community,
It’s clear that this watershed is full of possibility, and stepping into this role means building on that energy to help it grow and thrive. As the new Director of Community Organizing and Public Programs, I am so excited to help build programming and partnerships that reflect the people who love and rely on them. The decision to take this role on was not small, but it was clear. My heart has always been in the work that happens on the ground, where relationships shape what’s possible.
To me, parks like Tacony Creek Park aren’t just green spaces, they’re places of belonging, joy, and magic. My mom always says love is in the small actions—the everyday choices we make. I want my time here to be an open love letter to this park, written through my daily choices—caring for, protecting, and nurturing the land and water alongside the people who love it (and those who will grow to love it).
The work I find most meaningful has always been about honoring what’s here while making space for what’s next—whether that’s supporting cultural producers or keeping green spaces vibrant and rooted in community. And if I can do it with laughter and a great playlist, even better.
The welcome I’ve received from the team has been incredible, and I don’t take it for granted. I’m excited for what’s ahead—learning, growing, and building together.
