Community Organizer

Tookany/Tacony-Frankford Watershed Partnership (TTF) seeks to achieve the transformation and emergence of Philadelphia’s Tacony Creek Park through the creation of a leading model of community organizing that produces community-centered programming, and an evolution of TTF to meet the daily and ongoing management, maintenance, and ecological restoration needs of this large, urban park and forest. 

TTF is hiring a Community Organizer to lead neighborhood-based community organizing across the watershed. This role focuses on building relationships, consistent on-the-ground presence in parks and neighborhoods, and supports community leadership connected to land stewardship and place-based initiatives. The Community Organizer reports to the Director of Community Organizing & Public Programs and works closely with other staff, along with community leaders, partners, and residents near Tacony Creek Park and adjacent communities. 

Compensation: Annual salary $49,000 to $53,000. This is a full-time (40 hours/week), exempt position.

2026 Delaware River Watershed Fellowship at TTF

Are you passionate about the environment and your community? Looking for a summer job where you can make a difference outside the office? The Tookany/Tacony-Frankford Watershed Partnership (TTF) is hiring a 2026 Watershed Fellow to work in Tacony Creek Park and connect with neighbors about the importance of clean water, parks, and stewardship!

Fellowship Dates: Seasonal through June 1 –  August 21, 2026
Compensation: Fellows are paid $16.00/hr, 35 hours a week over the summer.
