Our partners Wyncote Audubon Society are hosting a bird walk in Tookany Creek Park!
All are welcome– this walk is for beginning birders and experienced birders as well. Wear comfortable footwear and clothing. Bring binoculars if you have them!
You’ll see our summer residents and fledglings as the nesting cycle for these birds has been well underway since spring. Of course you’ll see our year-round resident birds and their young as they are also in their breeding cycle.
Directions: Meet at the parking lot on Tookany Creek Parkway near the Central Avenue end of the Park. The nearest public transportation is the Cheltenham Station of SEPTA Regional Rail and the 24 bus, about a mile+ walk on sidewalk to the meeting place.
