Upstream Suburban Philadelphia Cluster Streamkeepers

Sediment run-off is a major cause of pollution of our creeks and streams.  Especially in suburban and urban areas, sediment can carry many contaminants into waterways, causing problems for aquatic life and drinking water systems.  One of the major sources of sediment run-off is from construction sites.  While there are environmental practices that workers at construction sites are required to follow to prevent sediment run-off, they aren’t always adhered to.

Join the Upstream Suburban Philadelphia Cluster Streamkeepers to learn how to be a construction site watchdog during this one-night class that uses materials developed by the Delaware Riverkeeper Network and the Lower Susquehanna Riverkeeper.
