Under rocks, under logs, under leaves, lives an impressive variety of tiny creatures that we depend on. Look for these, and examine them closely with magnifiers and microscopes. Use handouts and field guides to see if you can tell what they are. In honor of Father’s Day, you will find out if some of the organisms we find are fathers.

For ages 5 through adult. Park at Kleinheinz Pond (35 Tookany Creek Parkway, Cheltenham PA 19012) and walk up towards Jenkintown Road.

Join environmental educator Judith Gratz as she explores a different topic on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 1:00pm –  2:30pm. This program series is free and made possible by Cheltenham Township and Tookany/Tacony-Frankford Watershed Partnership.

Preregistration is required here!

Class size is limited to 15. No walk-ins, please. Please fill out one form for each person in your party attending.
