Depending on how calm or wild the Creek is that day we will either explore the physical and chemical characteristics of the Tookany Creek or collect and evaluate the organisms that live in the water. These can show us the general health of the Creek.

You must wear boots, old sneakers, or water shoes if you want to go into the Creek. Or you can stand on the bank and participate from there.

For ages 6 through adult. Meet in the parking lot at the Central Ave. end of the Parkway.

Join environmental educator Judith Gratz as she explores a different topic on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 1:00pm –  2:30pm. This program series is free and made possible by Cheltenham Township and Tookany/Tacony-Frankford Watershed Partnership.

Preregistration is required here!

Class size is limited to 15. No walk-ins, please. Please fill out one form for each person in your party attending.
