Join us for a special Love Your Park Tree Planting in Tacony Creek Park. Through a partnership with the Delaware Riverkeeper Network, we’ll be planting a number of large trees to provide shade, absorb polluted runoff, and create community gathering areas.
All tools and supplies will be provided, including work gloves, mask, snacks, and water. Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting wet or dirty. Long sleeves recommended. Please being a bring a reusable water bottle if you have one. We provide a free reusable water bottle to volunteers. After the planting, lunch will be provided for volunteers. Please note, no restrooms available.
We follow Philadelphia Covid guidelines. 25 person limit for this event. Pre-registration required.
