We will use tools to collect litter to improve the watershed and to set a good example. Then we’ll categorize the trash and you’ll learn how long each kind will stay in the environment. We will make “tombstones” and bury the litter to dig up and look at next year.
We host Nature’s Hidden Surprises walks every 3rd Saturday of the month from 10:30am – 12:00pm at the Tacony Creek Park gateway at the intersection of East Olney and East Tabor Road, led by environmental educator Dallas Cederberg. The same walk is also hosted on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the same time.
Learn something new each month! FREE.
Walk-ins are welcome, but RSVPs are appreciated. Contact Dallas at dallas@ttfwatershed.org or 215-744-1853.
