Some plants and animals can live in a meadow where there is a lot of sun, higher temperatures, dryer, with fewer places for homes compared with the woods. We will use field guides, hand lens and binoculars to discover what lives in this habitat. Prepare to explore the meadow!
Nature’s Hidden Surprises walks happen every second Wednesday of the month from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm at Tacony Creek Park’s Whitaker Gateway, and are led by environmental educator, Judith Gratz.
Walk-ins are welcome, but RSVPs are appreciated; please contact Doryán at doryan@ttfwatershed.org or 215-744-1853.
