Join us Friday, October 2nd for our first socially distanced planting at this special park gateway which neighbors helped us enhance with a new garden last year. We will plant additional native trees, shrubs, and flowers to both sides of the path leading into Tacony Creek Park.
There are two sessions, 10:00AM – 12:00PM and 12PM – 2:00PM, and a 10 person limit for each. Register HERE for your time slot.
In the event of inclement weather, we will cancel and notify you via email. We will provide all tools, gloves, and masks for your safety and usage. All participants are required to work 6 feet apart at all times and keep their mask on. We will also provide water and snacks.
Please stay home if you are feeling ill or have been in close proximity to a person who is sick, or has become sick in the past 2 weeks. If you are an older adult, or have a chronic medical illness that makes you more susceptible to COVID-19, please stay home. We recommend that volunteers wear hats, closed-toe shoes, and comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing that can get dirty.
