Second Saturdays: Creek Care Day

H Street 2
Get your hands dirty to improve local creeks and streams!  We need volunteers to help remove invasive plants, clean up litter, and plant native plants. Together, we’ll remove litter that could otherwise end up in waterways and promote native plants that filter stormwater pollution.
Join us for a small, socially distant & family friendly cleanup in Tacony Creek Park or a restoration site in our watershed.
All cleanups are led by TTF or Philadelphia Parks & Recreation staff. Volunteers must pre-register & space is limited. Trash grabbers, bags, and gloves will be provided – though you’re welcome to bring your own.

Cleanups are canceled in the event of heavy rain or thunder. We’ll send an email to all registered volunteers a few days prior, with weather confirmation, meeting location, and other important details!

Remember to wear a mask, and to stay home if you experience COVID-19 symptoms or have been in contact with a confirmed case in the last 14 days.

We’ll be at a different location each month. Register here.
