2022 Chloride Blitz Report

Working with Stroud Water Research Center, in 2022 we hosted two chloride blitzes, “synoptic” sampling events, in which multiple volunteers collect a number of water samples across a wide geographic area over a short period of time. These chloride blitzes are a way to measure how much salt is present during non-winter months since salt enters our streams in these months through salt-polluted groundwater.
