Christopher Kircher

As an architect and studio director at Metcalfe, Chris has overview of all projects and staffing, and contributes to the development of select projects, designing diverse social experiences for museums, schools, outdoor environments and performance spaces. Among these are The Yard at Citizens Bank Park, Whiting Forest at Dow Gardens, Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat, Interact Theater at the Drake, Camden Shipyard + Maritime Museum, and the award-winning Out on a Limb Tree Canopy Walk at the University of Pennsylvania’s Morris Arboretum. In addition to volunteering his design skills for community work, Chris is a dedicated architectural educator at Temple, Drexel, University of the Arts, and Philadelphia University, where he earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree and taught design studios for 17 years in the College of Architecture and the Built Environment.
