Drew Rinaldi Subits is responsible for planning, managing, restoring, and rehabilitating natural spaces and trails in Tacony Creek Park in North Philadelphia. He also builds partnerships and hosts trainings with local community and workforce development organizations to help connect and engage residents in public land stewardship. He began his career as a classroom teacher and coach in various Philadelphia school settings. He later served with PowerCorpsPHL, where he combined his passion for engaging young people with Philadelphia parks. He loves working to create more
equitable access to parks and engaging with the public on the importance, health, and joy of interacting with and investing in these spaces.
Drew has a Master’s Degree in Education from Temple University, is an ISA Certified Arborist, an Accredited Organic Land Care Professional with the Northeast Organic Farmers Association (NOFA), and a Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner-in-Training (CERPIT) with the Society for Ecological Restoration (SER).
