Joanne Dahme

Joanne Dahme worked at the Philadelphia Water Department for nearly forty years, leading the Public Affairs Division during that time. Joanne holds a B.C.E. degree in Civil Engineering from Villanova University and an M.J. in Journalism and a Master’s in Creative Writing, both from Temple University. As a founding member of TTF, Joanne has worked tirelessly to advocate for our watershed’s people, communities, and wildlife, serving as an active and enthusiastic Board member representing PWD for many years. Joanne launched Mayfly Communications in 2019, a professional service that specializes in public engagement, education, and communications around environmental policies and regulatory challenges with a focus on water resources.
